Enzo Barrenechea, called up by Argentina National Team
Valencia CF player called up to play the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Paraguay and Peru.
Hugo Duro was in the starting lineup once again in Valencia CF's 0-0 draw with Cádiz CF, and he talked about the match at the Nuevo Mirandilla with VCF MEDIA.
A strong second half
I think that it was an even first half, but in the second we deserved much more. We weren't able to take the three points, but against Real Madrid we didn't either. If you don't win, then at least you can get a point -especially away from home.
I think that our second half was very good, and we just lacked effectiveness. There were two good stops from Daniel Wass, and another really good save by the goalkeeper from me. Their goalkeeper played very well. At least the feeling amongst the team is good, and from now we will be working for the game against FC Barcelona.
Drawing positives
We have to value this, because at least we are feeling good. For example, in the game against Sevilla we had a bad feeling about having suffered a big defeat, and the feeling here is very different. It's a point that doesn't leave us satisfied, however, and we need to use this as motivation to win at the Camp Nou.
The next game up
Now we are going to rest, after these games in which we haven't been able to take the win. What better way to reset than by resting a litte, and trying to focus on the game against Barça and trying to win there.
